A small group of residents met to discuss starting a Neighbourhood Forum.
Interest in the creation of a Neighbourhood Forum followed the outrage caused by the Local Authority’s consultation on their strategic land review earlier in 2016. This led to the formation of Keep Boldon Green which continue’s its work as a campaign group although it doesn’t have any legal standing.
The Neighbourhood Forum is separate from Keep Boldon Green and, once recognised by the Local Authority does have legal standing.
