One of the “basic conditions” that will be tested by the independent examiner is whether the making of the Neighbourhood Plan is compatible with relevant legal European and UK obligations including Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Habitat Regulation Assessment (HRA).
New developments will be required to provide or contribute to the infrastructure requirements that are related to them. The necessary infrastructure, including improvements to existing infrastructure, should be made available to serve the development within an agreed timescale.
New development should protect trees from damage or loss. Development which may impact on trees should be accompanied by a tree survey that establishes the health and longevity of the trees. Trees of good arboricultural and amenity value will be protected from development.
